I became a licensed real estate agent in 2018. My work experience hasn't always been in real estate. I spent years in professional printing before working for Waller ISD for 18 years, gaining a ton of friends including co-workers and former students all the while putting on local benefits to help people in the community, I was also a former volunteer of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for many years before retiring; it is only natural that I is able to combine my love of Waller, and surrounding counties with the love of wanting to help people, to now developing a successful real estate business. I am lucky enough to have turned my personal passion into my career and have spent the last couple years helping others find their home while also finding that perfect buyer for a home. Monica has lived in Texas the majority of her life. Monica grew up in Dallas where she started her love in Real Estate. Monica worked in property management for 6 years, loved it so much, she started real estate school. During that time her husband, James, transferred their family to Houston for his job in the oil and gas industry. As they settled down Monica then continued to finish Real Estate school. Monica enjoys looking at homes, and is dedicated in making sure that her clients find the best fit for their lifestyle. Monica has an eye for detail and a personality that gets anyone interested , which is perfect for listing your home.

When Monica isn't working she stays busy with their son, Kaden, and all his activities. From being on the PTO board at his school, on the NCFL board for his football, team mom in football as well as soccer, and making sure he is well suited up when he decides to go off and ride his dirt bike. Their family enjoys going to Colorado through out the year. In the winter Monica skis, and James and Kaden snowboard. In the summer they enjoy white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and going to the skatepark.

Monica commits to making peoples lives change with opening up doors to their new home and closing them to the old. She loves to see that feeling of gratitude, and the smiles her clients give off when they have just closed on a home.

My real estate journey began in 2009 in Houston, TX and I am honored to have helped many along the way. Prior to that, I've worked in the Oil Field in Business Development & Procurement and was also a Veterinary Technician. The opportunities I had in the Oil Field were wonderful and I was on a great career path, but the feeling I had after closing my first client on their first home was more gratifying. My journey in life is to make a difference and to help others and with Real Estate I can do that. I am also extremely passionate about animal rescue. I am the founder of Paw Huggers Animal Rescue and we do a lot of community outreach in hopes of educating the public on proper pet care. We often focus on rescuing pets that are critical or special needs as we know not everyone is prepared to take on that level of commitment.
